Mixtile Cluster Box is a PCIe switcher that can connect up to four Mixtile Blade 3 boards through PCIe interfaces, which allows for multi-node computation. Compared with a single Blade 3 board, this 4-node clustering provides boosted computing performance, faster networking, and expansive storage capacity.

Description

Mixtile Cluster Box is an enclosure with built-in PCIe switch designed to accommodate a four-node cluster of Mixtile Blade 3 boards, providing higher computing power, faster network speed, and larger storage space. From small business applications to edge computing, it is an ideal HPC cluster for ultra-low-power consumption.
 
Mixtile Blade
Cluster Box consists of a backplane, a control board, and a customized small chassis with fans inside. Blade 3 SBCs can be connected to the product chassis through the U.2 interface. The product has an ASM2824 PCIe Switch chip, with 4 downstream ports configured as PCIe 3.0 ×4 and connected to the U.2 interface.
