Reference: APU6B4
APU6B4 is a high performing AMD Embedded G series GX-412TC based motherboard and also comes with an SFP port, 4 GB DDR3-1333 DRAM and more.
The APU6B4 is a small form factor system board designed for embedded applications. It features an AMD Embedded G series GX-412TC CPU, with a 1 GHz quad Jaguar core that supports 64 bit and AES-NI encryption. Each core has a 32K data + 32K instruction cache, and they share a 2MB L2 cache. The board is equipped with 4 GB DDR3-1333 DRAM for memory.
For storage, the APU6B4 can boot from an SD card via its internal sdhci controller. It also supports external USB or m-SATA SSDs, and has a SATA + power connector. The mSATA is shared with the miniPCI express slot. The board requires a 12V DC power supply and consumes about 6 to 12W depending on CPU load. The power jack is 2.5 mm with the center positive.
Connectivity options include 1 SFP port (Gigabit, Intel i210IS) and 3 Gigabit Ethernet channels (Intel i211AT). The board has a microUSB serial port, 2 USB 3.0 external ports and 4 USB 2.0 internal ports. It also has three front panel LEDs and a pushbutton.
Expansion options include 3 miniPCI express slots, with J14 intended for Wi-Fi and lacking a SIM, J13 offering USB only with SIM for modem, and J16 offering USB or mSATA, with an optional SIM. The board also has a GPIO header, optional I2C bus, and COM2 (3.3V RXD / TXD).
The APU6B4 measures 6 x 6" (152.4 x 152.4 mm), which is the same size as other popular system boards like the apu1d, alix2d13, and wrap1e. The board's firmware is coreboot. The cooling system uses a conductive method from the CPU to the enclosure, using a 3 mm alu heat spreader that is included with the board.
