Khadas Edge2 is powered by the RK3588S, a next generation 8-core 64-bit SoC from Rockchip. The RK3588S is Rockchip's newest flagship IoT SoC utilizing the 8 nanometer lithography process. As a result, power consumption is similar to the RK3399, yet we have achieved an overall performance boost of up to 2.5 times.
The Edge2 Station adds 10/100M ethernet, a 3.5mm headphone jack, UART for debugging, external audio DAC, and more, to your Edge2 ARM PC by docking with pogo pads located on the underside of the device.
The Khadas Edge2 IO Module is a GPIO break-out board for the Edge2 that expands the functions of Edge2 by connecting to the FPC connector on the underside. It incorporates a UHS-I SD card reader, a dual-channel infrared receiver, USB ports and more!
Edge2's Active Cooling Kit = Edge Heatsink + 3705 Cooling Fan.
Note that the 3705 Cooling Fan cannot be mounted on an Edge1, because the wire is too short.
