Description

PC Engines Passive POE Injector provides power and data to Power Over Ethernet compatible devices. It is recommended to use 18V power adapter to minimize cable losses. This POE is compatible with ALIX board or any POE enabled device.

Power over Ethernet is a simple way of providing power and data communication for PoE devices through CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable. Passive POE (Power Over Ethernet) adapter, uses unused pairs of 100baseT network cable to transmit power to remote device.
Note:  Passive POE does not comply with the IEEE 802.3af specification.
